We ARE participating in Wreaths Across America in 2026. Again, you can purchase wreaths at wreathsacrossamerica.org and we will earn proceeds for each wreath sold. On December 19, at noon, wreaths will be distributed at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
For the first time, we have begun to participate in the Emblem Sales Flag Rewards Program. For each American Flag purchased through Emblem Sales, we will earn point for the Legion. Our goal is to purchase Early Bird drawing prized for membership year 2027. Please consider American Flags as gifts, replacement for your home flag (nothing lasts forever). For each dollar you spend on American Flags, the Post earns 10¢. When you check out, you will be asked if you care to sponsor a Post. Please select TN Post 112. Thank you.
Since our charter, American Legion Post 112 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
FOR GOD AND COUNTRY WE ASSOCIATE OURSELVES TOGETHER FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:
To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America;
To maintain law and order;
To foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism;
To preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in all wars;
To inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation;
To combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses;
To make right the master of might;
To promote peace and goodwill on earth;
To safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy;
To consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
